Tree by the Beach is one of my favorites, I love how the background turned out ...the deep midnight blue lightening into worn-out-blue-jeans blue, to the warm brown sandy beach. I think this painting has a very peaceful vibe to it. :)

I wanted to try painting an Impressionist-type painting, using darker colors rather than the usual pastel colors. This was the result ..."Ranunculus" flowers.
I really love the way it turned out. :)
